Current Projects

1. • Scientific coordinator of the collaboration activities between the University of Trieste and the Municipality of Trieste (IT) in the frame of the national “Innovation Programme for neighbourhoods’ quality”, funded by the Italian Ministry for Infrastructures and Transportation (2021 – now).
2. • Scientific coordinator (with Ilaria Garofolo) of the research project “Mapping and monitoring of architectural barriers, aimed at the implementation of urban planning and design towards inclusive accessibility”, Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, University of Trieste-Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Udine (IT) (2020 – now).
3. • Scientific coordinator of the technical group of the Italian Society of Planners-SIU “Marginalized Inner Areas and Surroundings. Mapping and sharing policy experiences” (2019 – now).
4. • Member of the research group “New Ngoc Hoi Master plan” project (building scenarios towards the review of the current regional master plan), and visiting researcher at the Ton Duc Thang University, Ho chi Minh City, Vietnam (2018-2019).
