Last week, the Institute of Smart City and Management - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH-ISCM) has met and worked with a delegation of professors and experts from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (China), Sungkyunkwan University, Junglim Architecture, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Korea). The meeting is a part of the 1st Smart City Education Symposium: Smart Urban Intervention - Smart City Living Lab (SCLL) 2023.
The working trip included exchanges and discussions on Smart Cities development issues. In which, the expert delegation met with the Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Committee, Department of Science and Technology under the committee, and leaders from Dien Quang company. Experts have especially actively discussed the Living Lab model, aiming at strategies to promote creative ideas for improvement in areas that have a direct impact on the process of creating a sustainable city.
Besides, the expert delegation also took time to visit the campus of UEH University, with an introduction to the school’s history through the E-History system, as well as facilities for learners such as UEH Maker Space, StudioLab system, UEH Smart Library, UII Incubator, etc. In particular, the team of experts met and talked with Dr. Bui Quang Hung, Vice President of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
