On November 24, 2020, Unviersity of Economics Ho Chi Minh City hosted the Southeast Region of the national festival for innovative startups – TECHFEST 2020. Being a part of the festival, Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM) successfully held the workshop “SMARTCITY+ Initiative” with the main theme “Tech & Urban Transformation and Human-Centered Approach” includes technology exhibition and application, forums for exchanging view on technology applications in urban development process and urban problem solving, together with human-centered approaches to smart city.
This is the first creative kick-start to inspire the ideas and activities of the UEH-ISCM Event Series 2021 “SMARTCITY+” in cooperation with national and international partners. The event series aim to brand HCMC as a Livable Smart City from urban problem solving with efficient resources through a variety of activities such as education, projects, research, community activities, forums for exchanging views, workshops, exhibitions.
