As an industry spokesman, Dong-Su Yi has experience inside Korea and the global market. His illustrious, award-winning career comes with 30 years of effort in advertising and marketing. He was appointed EVP of Korea Telecom in 2015, where he enriched marketing activities. His design instinct brought KT numerous awards, including Red Dot Design Awards and the iF Design Award. He started working in advertising at JWT as ECD in Seoul before moving to BBDO as VP and ECD. Afterward, he joined Ogilvy&Mather as ECD, regional CD of Vietnam(HCMC), and the Bangkok office. In 2013, as Global Creative Director of Ogilvy&Mather based in Singapore, he oversaw and drove the creative work on Ponds of Unilever. He has won numerous international awards, such as Cannes, Clio, D&AD, and Adfest. The Gunn Report, in 2003, recognized his ‘Jeep’ print campaign as the most awarded print work in AP Region. After a successful career in advertising and marketing, he led the Locus China branch, one of Korea’s leading CG and VFX companies, to broaden his eyes in the special effects industry of films, games, and commercials. After the corona outbreak, he returned to Korea and lectured at the Gtec (Gyeonggi University of Science and Technology) Game Contents department. Since 2022, he has taught students at the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in Ho Chi Minh City as Vice Dean of the School of Media Design.
