Introduction to Standardization and Current Status of IEEE 2888 WG — Standard for Architecture of a Digital Twin System for Carbon Emission Management

🌱 About the Lecture
As the world strives toward sustainability and carbon neutrality, Digital Twin technology—the digital representation of physical systems—has emerged as a crucial tool for cities, businesses, and organizations to monitor, manage, and optimize carbon emissions effectively. However, the large-scale implementation of Digital Twin systems requires standardized technical frameworks and interoperable architectures.
To provide an international and in-depth perspective on this topic, the College of Technology and Design (CTD) – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) proudly presents a public lecture:
👉 “Introduction to Standardization and Current Status of IEEE 2888 WG: Standard for Architecture of a Digital Twin System for Carbon Emission Management.”
This lecture is part of the CTD Learning and Sharing Series, organized in collaboration with the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM). The session will introduce IEEE 2888, an international standard developed by the IEEE Standards Association, which defines the architecture and operational principles of Digital Twin systems for carbon emission management.
