Dr. Quang Tran Vuong is an environmental scientist specializing in urban air quality, atmospheric pollution, and environmental health. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea. His research focuses on particulate matter, source apportionment, long-range transport, and the interactions between air pollution, meteorology, and human health in rapidly urbanizing regions. He has published extensively in leading international journals and has collaborated with diverse research groups in Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, and the United States.

Working experience

2026–present: Lecturer at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City
Teaching courses on urban environmental studies, air quality, and urban data analytics; contributing to interdisciplinary curriculum development; contributing to the development and implementation of research projects.

2025–2026: Research Fellow at Ton Duc Thang University
Conducting research on urban air quality, particulate matter, and health risk assessment; contributing to the development and implementation of research projects.

2022–2024: Research Associate at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea) & University of Florida (USA)
Research on atmospheric chemistry and aerosols; examining links between air pollution, meteorology, and health impacts; engaging in international collaborations and publications.

2024: Researcher at Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute
Contributing to studies on environmental radiation, field surveys, data analysis, and environmental health risk assessment.
