International Studio Smart Urban Design: Drowning Cities with Avans University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands)
🧊Starting from August 28, 2023, the International Studio - Smart Urban Design: Drowning Cities has officially launched. This is a program held by the Institute of Smart City and Management - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH-ISCM) in conjunction with Avans University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) - towards applying Global thinking to Local action, solving problems related to flooding and developing a smart and sustainable water city in the future.
💦Next week, ISCM students, together with lecturers and students from the Netherlands to explore and analyze multi-faceted urban issues, especially flooding issues along the Tham Luong canal in Ho Chi Minh City through site trips, workshops as well as idea presentation session.
🌊In particular, on October 11 and 13, public lectures with no limit on participants will be held. Setting the main topic related to methods to solve the problem of urban flooding from the Netherlands and Vietnam, the lectures will certainly bring inspiration for you to come up with architecture and urban design plans toward sustainability.
