Ocean Futures Conference 2025: Smart Technologies and Sustainable Coastal Living

Co- Organised by University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee
Join us at the forefront of change for the Ocean Futures Conference 2025. Proudly presented by the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), College of Technology and Design, UEH University alongside our global and local partners, this year we set our sights on the vast potential of the Blue Economy - a theme that redefines how technology and design interact with our planet's most vital resource: its oceans. The blue economy is not only a driver of economic growth, but it also plays a crucial role in safeguarding sovereignty, ensuring national security, and promoting sustainable development.
Vietnam is actively focusing on developing coastal infrastructure and enhancing resource management to achieve a green, efficient, and sustainable development future. However, alongside these efforts, the blue economy in Vietnam still faces numerous challenges, and balancing economic development with marine environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and effective resource management remains a critical issue that needs to be addressed.
We invite you to explore breakthrough ideas and collaborative strategies that can transform these obstacles into opportunities. Prepare to dive into a conference experience where every session, every discussion, and every connection is dedicated to reimagining our collective future on an ocean of opportunity.
