ISCM RECRUITMENT FOR LECTURERS IN THE FIELDS OF SMART MOBILITY AND SMART CITY TECHNOLOGY
Shaping the future of smart cities together
The Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), is recruiting lecturers in two fields: Smart City/Smart City Technology and Smart Mobility & Transport Systems to develop training, research, and knowledge transfer capacity in the fields of smart cities, urban digital transformation, smart mobility, and sustainable development.
Joining ISCM means becoming part of a dynamic research and training ecosystem at UEH, while engaging in a broad collaborative network with state management agencies, enterprises, international organizations, communities, and partner universities both domestically and internationally. Lecturers will participate in teaching, research, curriculum development, Living Labs, and applied research projects, consulting, and knowledge transfer in urban sectors.
In addition to training and research activities, ISCM encourages lecturers to participate in organizing seminars, conferences, short courses, and multi-stakeholder collaborative initiatives to create practical value for the community. This is an environment for researchers and lecturers to transform academic knowledge into practical solutions, policy recommendations, and innovative initiatives, contributing to the smart and sustainable urban development process in Vietnam.
What candidates is ISCM looking for?

ISCM is seeking candidates holding a Doctor degree in fields related to smart cities, urban technology, computer science, urban data, urban planning and development, transportation, logistics, supply chain management, or related majors. For certain special cases, candidates with a Master's degree along with outstanding professional and academic experience may be considered in line with UEH's development orientation.
Candidates are expected to have teaching capacity in English, research experience, academic publications, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment. In particular, ISCM highly values candidates with experience in implementing real-world projects, collaborating with enterprises or management agencies, as well as the ability to connect research with the development needs of society.
Besides expertise, ISCM seeks individuals with a spirit of collaboration, who proactively build academic activities, are ready to develop partner networks, and accompany students in a learning environment based on research and practical problem-solving.
