ISCM RECRUITMENT FOR SPECIALIST AND COLLABORATOR IN SMART MOBILITY & TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
The Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) announces the recruitment of two positions: Specialist and Collaborator in the field of Smart Mobility and Transport Systems. This is an opportunity for candidates interested in smart mobility, sustainable transport, logistics, and digital transformation in the transport sector, who wish to participate in research, training, and practical projects at ISCM.
Opportunities to participate in smart and sustainable transport projects
ISCM promotes research, training, and practical application activities to address transport and mobility challenges in the modern urban context. The Institute's projects and activities span across various fields, including urban transport, public transport, traffic safety, intelligent transport systems, railways and metros, aviation, maritime, inland waterways, logistics, and multimodal transport.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of lecturers, researchers, experts, state management agencies, transport enterprises, and domestic and international partners; while also participating in training programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, research, and applied projects at ISCM. For the Specialist position, the scope of work also extends to project coordination, progress tracking, planning, preparation of documents and reports, and coordinating with relevant partners.
Through these activities, successful candidates will not only gain practical experience but also gain comprehensive exposure to the implementation process of research, training, and consulting projects in the field of smart mobility, from the ideation stage, data collection and processing, to project execution, project management, and evaluation of results.
What candidates is ISCM looking for?
ISCM is seeking candidates who are final-year students, postgraduate students, fresh graduates, or candidates with working experience in sectors such as transportation, traffic engineering, planning, logistics and supply chain management, transport economics, data science, information technology, public management, business administration, and related fields.
Suitable candidates are those interested in the fields of smart mobility and sustainable transport, with the ability to search for and synthesize information, process data, prepare reports, and collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment. The ability to use tools such as GIS, Power BI, Python, R, SPSS, traffic simulation software, or project management platforms is an advantage.
In particular, ISCM highly values candidates who actively learn, work responsibly, possess systems thinking, and desire to contribute to projects creating positive impacts for the development of the transport and mobility sector in Vietnam.
